Dhani Tackles The Globe – Russia (S1Ep10, 2009)

10 years ago I had the pleasure of appearing on Travel Channel’s “Dhani Tackles the Globe”. This was very special to me for many reasons: To be able to showcase the martial art I love: to document on film the wonderful man that introduced me to sambo and changed my life forever – my coach Alexander Barakov (who most of my students have never met); and of course it was my first appearance on a network television program.

I highly suggest picking up the series on DVD. It is a great show for any sports and martial art enthusiast. https://www.amazon.com/Dhani-Tackles-Globe-Season-1/dp/B002KLQ2ZY
