“The Other Side of Greece” travels in London

Through a kaleidoscope of artistic expression, the mucisian and song writer Philippos Pliatsikas succeeds in showing the musical richness of Greece. This multi-arts approach mixes genres, styles and generations. With an eye to the future and with respect for the past and tradition, Philippos Pliatsikas with the show “The Other Side of Greece”, will present a multi-artistic approach to Greek culture through time and trends!
The show will travel to Europe in our own melancholic blues through mainland music, our own reaction through the sharp voice of the Cretan lyre and Ipirus clarinet.
Poems written of our great poets Cavafy, Seferis and Elitis, will meet the Greece of today and the future of Greece. With them young people, children through child imagination to introduce us the beauties of the country with their paints.
Among the objectives of this show is to actively support a country that strives to maintain upright after a series of problems, but also to defend because of the mis information and stigma suffered. The main reason for this tour is the fight against it.
